Attorney General Pam Bondi is facing scrutiny after a memo from the Department of Justice (DOJ) said there was no evidence that the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein kept a "client list" or was murdered.

The department even released purported footage as part of its review, which according to officials confirm that Epstein died by suicide. The notorious financier was found dead while in custody in his jail cell in Manhattan in 2019. The confirmation of suicide contradicted conspiracy theories that Epstein may have been murdered.

FBI director Kash Patel and Attorney General Pam Bondi came under intense criticism after the FBI and the DoJ closed the Epstein case and concluded that there was no evidence that the convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein blackmailed powerful people as he had a 'client list' that he was going to expose.
