A head-on accident that took the life of 17-year-old Matthew Perrine, a student at Bryan Station High School, also seriously injured a woman and her twin 6-year-old girls.

The Mount Vernon Fire Department reports that the collision involved two semi-trucks, one confirmed to be carrying hazardous materials.
