An inmate found unresponsive in a jail cell in South Lake Tahoe died Friday, according to the El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office. Employees with the Sheriff’s Office found an unresponsive man about 5:30 a.m. The man received medical aid but was pronounced dead, the Sheriff’s Office said in a social media post.
