Maverick McNealy and Vince Whaley are tied for the lead going into the final round of the RSM Classic. Both are looking for their first PGA Tour victory.

Since missing the cut in his first two starts of the FedEx Cup Fall, Maverick McNealy has played high-level golf. He finished T-16 at the Shriners, T-6 at the World Wide Technology and T-17 at the Butterfield Bermuda Championship. Now, he’s 18 holes away from claiming his first PGA Tour win at The RSM Classic.

McNealy posted a final-round 68 on Sunday to win by a shot at the Sea Island Golf Club on Saint Simons Island in Georgia.

McNealy made his birdie on the final hole to earn his first career PGA Tour win and put himself in the early 2025 signature events

The par-72, 7,060-yard course at Sea Island Golf Club (Seaside Course) in Sea Island, GA is the location for the 2024 The RSM Classic, where Vince Whaley will be hitting the links from November

Maverick McNealy has finally gotten over the hump. The 29-year-old stuffed a 7-iron from 183 yards on the par-4 18th hole at Sea Island’s Seaside Course before buying the 5-foot, 5-inch putt to earn his first PGA Tour win Sunday at the 2024 RSM Classic.
