The easiest way to get started is to go to www.uimn.org, click Applicants, and then click Apply for Benefits. This takes you to the login page where you'll start the application process.

Every time you log in (online or by phone), the system will direct you to what you need to do. When you make your request for benefits, the system will tell you what your payment will be.

You can log in to your online account from 6:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M., Monday through Friday. You can request a payment by phone from 6:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M., Tuesday through Friday.
