Nov 13, 2022 · If you have a 45xp and the duramax torch you can run them. Just make sure to use the proper swirl ring too. Why fine cuts? I cut 16 gauge on pro with Titanium 45 with plasmadyn machine torch at 45 amps, cut speed 205 ipm, cut height .059, 120 psi air supply to machine and 70 psi air at torch.

Yes they can cut thicker , however expect short life, because of the short life Hypertherm does not recommend thicker than the chart suggests.

On thinner materials and finecuts may list a lower amperage on the charts in that case use what is listed in that chart . Cut aluminum with Hypertherm finecut consumables?
Feb 15, 2024 · The finecuts do work with aluminum but the problem comes when aluminum starts to plug the the small orifice of the finecuts. I believe this is the reason they do not list it it the cut charts because the build up and clogs makes it somewhat unreliable.
