FY 2025 Budget. With record surpluses now behind us, it is even more important for the State to maintain discipline in its budgeting decisions. Our wise investments of federal and surplus dollars have helped Rhode Island avoid a recession, and our revenue growth continues to be stable.

FY 2026 Budget Over the next five years, state revenues are expected to grow 2.5 percent annually, fueled by our investments and robust economy. However, over the same period, expenditures are expected to increase at 3.7 percent annually.
